Dog social: Yes, but will guard food from other dogs so needs to be fed separately
Cat social: Unknown
Kid friendly: Unknown, but may do best with older kids due to his excitability during play
Hopkins likes:
- Being close to you and leaning on you (literally)
- Having a dog pal to show him the ropes
- A quiet place to live and a human that he feels safe with
- Being a smartypants!
Hopkins can be a sensitive sweetheart who would prefer to live in a slightly quieter home and neighborhood. He loves other dogs and gains confidence from having a dog pal in the home but should be fed separately as he can be protective of food around other dogs. He has been working to master potty training and will need an adopter who can help him with this as he adjusts to his new home. He can become mildly mouthy (play bite) when excited so would benefit from an adopter who can help him channel this energy in positive ways, like working on a stuffed Kong or puzzle toy.
Hopkins's adoption fee is $300 and he is ready to be your new BFF!
