My Story

Hope was rescued from a breeding farm by one of our volunteers. She had been tied to a tree, we think for her whole life. She is 2 years old and weighs a petite 13 pounds. Hope is a very sweet and needy girl who wants nothing more than to spend her days sitting on someone's lap. She just never had a lap to sit in her whole life. She needs someone to boost her confidence and teach her more things. Hope doesn't care to be alone for very long. She can be jealous of attention being given to other dogs and can try to be dominant with them. So we would love to see her go to a home with no other dogs where she can be the center of attention. Hope is fine with cats as most cats are bigger than she. She is crate trained but doesn't care much for it. We do require a 6' fence for Hope or only to be walked on a leash. Fortunately, dogs don't live in the past and her happiness and joy of living a normal life now is what we intend to be sure she has for the rest of her life. We require an application, homecheck and adoption fee. Please contact: [email protected] for an application
