Meet adoptable Hoover!
Hoover came into the shelter as an emaciated, trembling stray who was never reclaimed by his previous owners. He has made some huge strides since arriving in our care, and we believe he is more than ready to find a home of his own!
Hoover appears to have had a rough go of it prior to his arrival here. He is very head shy and submissive. Thankfully, his confidence has really gone up since his arrival and he really is just the sweetest older fella who wants a safe place to call home. Hoover is low energy and content with spending the day sunbathing or stretched out on your couch. He is great with other dogs as well and would be great in a home with small kids thanks to his gentle nature.
Hoover weighs 42 pounds and is around six years old. He has been vaccinated, treated for internal/external parasites and has tested positive for heartworm disease. This is very treatable, so please don't let it be the reason you don't choose to adopt sweet Hoover!
