My Story

All Planned Pethood dogs and puppies are altered (spayed/neutered) and fully vetted prior to adoption. Dog breed is a best guess by the vet and/or Petfinder breed expert findings. We cannot guarantee breed, weight, age of dogs or final adult size of puppies.

Hoover is a 10 year old 13 pound male Jack Russell Terrier who was rescued from a local pound. His foster mom knew she was picking up a special guy when she went to pick him up at the vet's office an Hoover was chilling out with the receptionists at the front desk with their own dogs on a bed. He is quick to give kisses and seems to get along well with other dogs. He ignores cats. He has been housebroke at his foster home. He is a very quiet guy and his favorite place to sleep is on a pillow snuggled under a blanket. He doesn't need to be crated. He'd make a great dog for someone looking for a companion to take with them to work and greet customers or a therapy dog. When he came in his mouth in terrible condition, with over grown and infected gums. But he had a dental and now he has a nice white smile. This guy seems very appreciative at getting a 2nd chance. We'll have more information soon.
