My Story

Hootie (03-135) is a red & white boy who was rescued from a shelter in Augusta. He learned the dog door in his Augusta foster home and got along fine with a cat there. Hootie completed treatment for heartworms earlier this year and was adopted. He was returned to BHRG because he and the small child in the home didn't get along. Hootie is very playful and gets along really well with other playful dogs. However, Hootie would do best in a home with older kids or with no children. Hootie has a great personality and like couches & beds. He likes to lay down with his back legs splayed out (a.k.a. the turkey leg position). He'd love to counter-cruise, but he's just too short!
