Honey (Photos 2/19/204

Honey is a beautiful 3-year old female (possible) Pit Bull Terrier/Hound/Labrador Retriever mix who was brought to the HSOV on February 17, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who found her on Waterford Road (near Lang Farm Road) in the Marietta Ohio area. Honey has a tan short smooth coat, a long tail, and a lovely face with pale brown eyes, a liver-colored nose, and short floppy ears. This young lady is understandably nervous about being in an unfamiliar place with so many other dogs and people that she does not recognize. So we took her preliminary photos where she was most at ease (in her kennel on nice soft blankets and enjoying a 'good girl' treat). Honey weighs 42 lbs. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Honey will be held for three days so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership. Since Honey was not reclaimed, we look forward to taking more flattering outdoor photos of this beautiful girl when she is a bit more relaxed.
