Honey, fka Sydney, is a Mama dog that is about 4yr old. We were told she is a Great Pyranese/Beagle mix.
Honey has not had the best start in life. She and about 5 other dogs were farm dogs in S IL that did not have much human interactions. We believe the human interactions she did have, have not been very kind. We are working with her to trust humans and she is responding but slowly. We are working hard, along with her great foster home, to show her what love and care are. Her pups were all adopted, now it's time for us to focus on Honey. She is not available for adoption at this time. She needs to be spayed and her socialization needs to be continued. She has 7 puppies - 5 females and 2 males. Honey is the reason why we rescue animals - we rescue those that are in need and her need is great. We currently feel that Honey would do best in a home that has another dog and a fenced yard as she is not good on a leash. Thank you!
