Honey

Why Choose Me? Honey needs some special love. She came in with multiple mast cell tumors that needed to be removed. We know they are likely to grow back, but there is no way of knowing when, and she may still have many happy years ahead. She is looking for a loving home to call her own. ------ I really like Honey. We had just entered the interaction pen when another volunteer joined us. She and I started talking, and Honey sat right beside me patiently waiting for a treat. She loves treats and knows that I have lots of them in the pouch that I wear. Not once did she jump up or whine. She was being so good that I slipped her a few as my friend and I continued to talk. Later, another volunteer took Falkor into the interaction pen next to us. Honey wanted to play, and they had a great time running along the fence. I've heard that Honey didn't have the best life before coming to the shelter. She also looks like she's had several litters and has some tumors on her back end. No matter what her previous life was like, she's a sweet girl who would love a home where she is cared for and loved.
