HONEY

Honey lived large with a big family in close quarters for a few months before coming to the shelter-there she was with adults, an older child, dogs and even a cat. She's very housetrained and can wait several hours for a potty break. She's also dutiful in following requests. Playing fetch is one of her favorite activities - she'll drop it at your feet and back up to wait - she's a fetch machine! When the play is done she'll be ready for some affections. Honey likes to feel safe and secure like all dogs do, and this can be hard in a shelter where she feels vulnerable behind bars. She's also crate trained and in a home, a crate den offers a quiet and comfortable retreat. Ask staff or her volunteer advocates for help meeting her.
