Honey

HONEY is an 11 month full Goldendoodle who was recently rescued with her 2 female littermates and half-sister (3/4 Golden 1/4 poodle) from a puppy mill a few hours away. They and the mama and father dogs were going to be "put down" because they hadn't sold. Honey and her 2 littermates look almost identical, but we happen to have the best pics of Goldie from HER foster vs the other fosters. They've been busy with vet appts getting vetted and also all groomed. Honey and the dad Stewart had to be shaved down because of matting unfortunately, but it'll grow back and it's not a bad time of year to go light! Honey is a little hesitant and shy at first, but not near as bad at other puppy mill dogs we've rescued. They were raised around the family's children and so are friendly but just on the shy side. They're already doing well after just a few days at their fosters', and on their outings to the vet and groomers. She'll just need some patience, but they'll do just fine in their forever homes. (They're being scheduled for spay and microchip, but that will be included at our vet in their adoption fee even if they're adopted before it happens) Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip after 6 months of age at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available. PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada - sorry!)
