Honey

Meet Honey, a resilient female 8 year old Sheltie with a heart of gold. This courageous pup overcame a challenging start in life as a puppy mill rescue. While initially unsocialized with people, Honey is gradually learning to trust and love. Honey will not be placed as an only dog. She needs another adult large breed dog with stable energy to help her feel secure. She is not good with smaller dogs or puppies. She is good with cats. Honey is a flight risk and requires a secure yard and a diligent owner. Approved applications will be contacted to make an appointment to meet the dog. If you are selected to adopt a second trip to the shelter will be required to pick up the dog and complete the adoption process. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, had a wellness exam from our veterinarian, have been treated for fleas/worms and are up to date on vaccinations.
