Hondo is an energetic young pup learning his manners, i.e. not to jump on people and to WAIT until he is invited. He is smart. He is stubborn. He loves attention and being with people and other dogs. He plays with absolute focus so much so that he slams into barriers when he is chasing his KONG and ends up rolling head over tail before emerging triumphant with his toy in his mouth to prance back over for another throw. He has come a long way. He still has a long way to go but he is getting better every day as he grows out of his puppy impulsiveness. He pounces. He prances. He is delight-on-the-paw. He still needs to learn his boundaries but what he needs most now is someone willing to put the time in to teach him how to be the best dog he can become.
