Hi my name is Homer! I am 2-3 years old and weigh 58 pounds. My people think I may be a Border Collie mix. I am super sweet and love my people. I just want to be where you are. I do well with other dogs both large and small. I am in a foster home with both. I have never been cat tested so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. I am both house and crate trained even though I am not a super fan of the crate. My foster mom leaves me out sometimes when she isn’t home and I have never messed with anything. I have really good house manners. My foster mom got me some toys but it’s obvious I have never had the opportunity to play with them before. I wasn’t sure what I was suppose to do with them, but I’m getting there. My back story is, myself and another dog was abandoned at a trucking yard. At least they are assuming I was abandoned. They don’t really know because I cannot tell them. A nice lady knew we needed some help and now she is my foster mom. I am so happy to have a safe place to sleep and have plenty of food to eat. I hope you never know what it is like to be hungry. I don’t ever want to go back to that time in my life. I have not been around children. There are not any in my foster home. I walk well on a leash and love to be out and about. There is a lot out there for me to explore and I would love to do it with someone special. My people say I am a medium energy kind of guy.
