My Story

Holly's story is unfortunately like so many others.. She was in an overcrowded Texas shelter at risk of being euthanized simply due to space. She had just had a litter of puppies, was emaciated and nursing. Holly is extremely sweet, but does need you to go at her pace. She can be nervous meeting new people, men in particular. She prefers you play hard to get and ignore her. Then she will look to come say hello to you. Once she feels safe she quickly warms up and becomes your shadow. Fast movements and loud noises make her nervous as well, so an active person with a quiet home would be best. She is very playful and jumpy but can also be a couch potato. Due to her nervousness she needs to be in a home with no small children. She does well with dogs and cats.
