Hoka was taken in by a kind elderly man on the outskirts of Houston, Texas, where the homeless pet population vastly outweighs the resources to help. Hoka adores people and would make a wonderful addition to a family.
The man that is currently keeping her safe has another small male dog, who Hoka is friends with. Unfortunately, Hoka is too interested in cats, and the man has many cats both indoors and outdoors. In order to keep his cats safe, Hoka is having to spend almost all of the day in a crate. The man is doing the best he can, but Hoka deserves a family of her own, where she can stretch her legs and join her family out and about in the house and on adventures.
Hoka is currently in Texas but will be transported to an approved adopter out-of-state. Her transport fees to an out-of-state adopter are already included in her $375 adoption fee.
