Meet Hobo, who is a 1 1/2 yr old Beagle Mix and 22 lbs. He was dropped off at a shelter by his owner along with his three sisters who are also posted on this site. Hobo is being fostered in TN and is foster mom says " Hobo has a med-high activity level and likes just about anything. He enjoys playing with a ball & chew toys and sitting on top of his dog house playing "KING OF THE HILL". He loves to run and play and is very Affectionate & Lovable. Hobo knows his basic commands and is crate trained. He is living outdoors and at his age will house train quite easily if he is not already. Hobo has been around children as young as 3 & as old as 16, and does fine. He plays well with other dogs and has normal curiosity around cats. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
