Hobby-pending

Hobby, a White German Shepherd/Mix, Male, Neutered, Approximately 6 Months Old. Has all shots and is heartworm free. This cute puppy was found at a hotel close to Hobby Airport. He had obviously been accidentally lost, and had not been on the streets very long. He was squeaky clean, he only had a couple of fleas (Now Frontline treated), his nails were trimmed and he even smelled good. The neighborhood was checked for fliers about a lost dog, but none were found. Unfortunately, his previous owners did not put a collar and tags on him or microchip him so he was left to the mercy of strangers at the hotel. He was so close to the freeway and the busy airport traffic, it is a miracle that he stayed at the hotel and away from the danger all around him. He is a very sociable, active little guy, loves people and one of his favorite things is playing chase with other dogs. Even though he has only been observed around cats for a couple of hours, he did well with them and would probably adjust to them quickly. He would be a great dog for a child to play with who was over the age of 5. He has light cream color on his head and a little on his back and back legs, but has white feet and front legs, stomach, chest, tail tip and a white blaze down his forehead and around his nose. He has huge floppy Shepherd ears that make him especially darling

Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Petco on Bay Area Boulevard. The adoption fee starts at $125. All dogs are heartworm tested, on heartguard, fixed, vaccinated, dewormed and defleaed. All dogs are microchipped.
