High energy pup who loves to play hard with her people, toys, and her current foster brother. Overall dog friendly, but can become a bit overexcited at times and is still learning how to have proper manners while socializing and playing. She needs slow introductions to strangers, as she sometimes barks when first meeting new people, but is quick to be affectionate once given treats if initial barking occurs. She's very loving and sweet once she trusts you. She loves to give endless kisses and cuddles. She loves to see her people and is often wagging her tail and wiggling with excitement. She's a smart and spunky girl who isn't short on personality. She's eager to learn and catches onto concepts quickly. Overall, nondestructive to home environment and belongings. She can get a bit mouthy if overly excited or tired but responds well to redirecting with a favorite toy or some nap time in her crate. Durable toys are recommended for her as she is a hard chewer and is quick to dismantle softer toys. She goes into her crate easily with the cue "go den" and settles within minutes. She sleeps soundly in the crate throughout the night. She's house trained. She's fairly easy on leash. Her leash skills need a bit more work as she does occasionally pull, but with proper training they'll easily improve and she responds well to check ins during walks. Occasionally barks while on leash at things such as people running but often is able to be settled down. She is sensitive to sounds so a quiet home environment (within the home and outside of the home) is important. Sometimes loud or unexpected noises will cause her to bark, but she is usually able to be calmed down within minutes. Highly recommended a house for her forever home.
