Meet Hershey! This adorable 4-month-old Catahoula mix puppy is full of life and ready to find his forever home. Bursting with puppy energy and enthusiasm, Hershey loves to run, play, chew, and be loved. He has a particular fondness for water and mud, making bath time extra fun! While he listens on his own terms, Hershey is getting quite good at sitting when treats are involved, showing he is smart and eager to learn with the right motivation. True to his puppy nature, Hershey loves to chew on toys and dig in pots, so providing him with appropriate chew toys and a safe digging area will keep him happy and occupied. Hershey does well being crated at night for up to 8 hours, giving his future family peace of mind and a good night's sleep. He plays well with the resident dog, even though the dog can be a bit territorial. Hershey is still learning about personal space with new dog friends and would love to jump into playtime right away. He shows interest in chasing and barking at cats, but with dedicated one-on-one training and attention, Hershey has the potential to coexist peacefully with feline friends. Hershey would thrive in a home that can keep up with his high energy levels and provide him with plenty of playtime and exercise.
