Hero, a spirited 3 year old majestic boy that prances with tenacity and embraces nobility. Fearless Hero has fought battles unknown and despite his success, forever scars remain. Hero, as luminous as he is, prefers a quiet castle with no extra furry royals. His royal court should only consist of his furry self as the king and any additional humans. Hero deserves king-level care with extra love, extra patience AND extra adventure. Hero isn't a lazy king, as this royal loves to run for days! In his time at the shelter, Hero has become a whiz at Nosework, an enrichment activity that allows dogs to de-stress, builds their confidence, and fosters a bond between dog and handler. Hero also walks beautifully on leash and is great at checking in with his handler: he loves giving you a gentle nose boop every so often as if to say, Im here if you need me. He is very food motivated, which makes him easy to train, and he takes treats with a nice soft mouth. Hes also house trained! On this recent outing downtown, Hero happily received affection from all types of people, including a toddler who gave him some very sweet pats.
