Herman captured our hearts the minute we saw him at the NYC shelter. Upon meeting him, he gave a big hug, hopped up on the bench and snuggled right up. the poor guy was terribly underweight and had cherry eye. But, we fattened him up, and got him surgery and now he's as good as new.
And he really is the complete package. His foster calls him a velcro dog as he always needs to see what she is up to -- he really loves people. She's taken him to her friends where he was a total gentleman with everyone he met including the kids. And he did great with another foster dog we placed in the same home. He's just a big, sweet cuddle bear.
Herman is 3 years old, 65 lbs and is being fostered in Scranton, PA. He's a strong pup so he would be best with an experienced handler if you don't have a fenced in yard. If you do, even better! How about giving this absolute gem of a dog a forever home?
