Hercules lives up to his name! This 2 year old big boy came to us as a stray. He is still learning to trust people and will require a patient owner who is experienced and willing to train due to his size. He is very sweet and gentle once he warms up to you. We think he would do best in an adult only home and as the only pet so he can get the full attention of his person/people.
The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog and family’s needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
