Herbie is a 10 year old German Shepherd. His owner went into the hospital and then went into a nursing care facility and could no longer care for Herbie. We took Herbie into Perpetual Care at our Life Care Center in Ocala, Florida. We provided Herbie with veterinary care which he had not had in several years. His legs and back were raw and bloody with mites and he was underweight. He has a damaged right ear and he has a bit of arthritis in his hips/legs, but walks just fine. We treated him and he has healed beautifully. He is a very happy and affectionate boy. He listens to you when you call and he comes to you immediately. He walks with you even without a leash. He is very obedient.
