Henson is a 1 year old male great pyrenees / anatolian shepherd mix. Both of these breeds are livestock guardian breeds. They are very protective and can be wary of strangers. Henson was adopted as a 4 month old puppy but returned when his family found out they were expecting. They felt he would be too much dog for them with a baby in the house. Once Henson gets to know you he is very loving and affectionate. He loves to play with his foster brother Webster, a chow mix, who is also available for adoption. They will run, wrestle, and tease each other with toys. Henson requires a person who is a strong leader to guide him. He is very smart, but stubborn, and will test you continuously. Henson is housetrained and cratetrained. He currently weighs about 70 lbs. His adoption fee is $125 which includes neuter, shots, and heartworm test.
