Henrietta, which we call Hazel, is a sweet very shy calm dog. And yes, I said a calm German Shepard. My husband and I were originally drawn to her because she reminded me so much of my German Shepard Bridgette, that I foster failed from Border Tails. We instantly knew we wanted to help her and foster her. When we first got her she was very shy and skittish. It actually took 3 weeks of her being here before she would let us pet her. We have fostered her for about two months now and she has made such progress. Her personality has completely come out. She loves to play with my other dogs. She loves to chew on our wooden chew toys. She loves to shred the soft plush toys. She is a good eater and loves all her fruits and veggies we give her. She is fully potty trained and we are currently working on sit with her. She is not crate trained because she doesn't like being in the crate. She loves being in the center of commotion and is absolutely wonderful with my 4 and 5 year old children. She only barks if the dog next door is outside or there are dogs barking on the tv otherwise she is very calm. She is very bonded to her biological sister, who we are fostering as well.
