Henrietta

Henrietta might seem very shy at first, then she opens up quickly to new people. She's been in a foster home since November 2023 with kids. Ideally, she would do better in a home without kid energy and noise levels since it tends to make her shy away. She will let kids pet on her some and has shown no aggression, or even correction, with them. She does extremely well with house/crate training and hasn't had any accidents. If she hasn't been out for a while, she might nervous pee a little with petting. She gets very wiggly and excited when she knows she's about to get fed. She does very well with other dogs in the home and tends to stay out of the way and lay on dog beds. Occasionally she seeks attention and remains very calm with petting. She hasn't been exposed to or lived with cats in the foster home. She's unfortunately shown signs of high prey drive if there's a stray cat or squirrel in the backyard, but luckily hasn't caught anything. One time the backyard gate somehow swung open and she got loose with the other dogs in the foster home. Luckily she had good recall with coming back since the other dogs did. Overall she's a very sweet, reserved dog and would love to find her forever home!
