Hello there, little fella! Meet Henley, a cute-as-a-button 8-year old, 11-pound Chihuahua/Terrier mix who looks as though he’s wearing brown eyeliner! How adorable is he? A true nature lover, Henley lovvvves spending time outside. He’s good on a leash and happy to trot along next to you, while enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of the great outdoors. He’s learning where and when to relieve himself, and now that he’s established a regular routine, he’s becoming much more reliable. Henley is a big fan of squeaky toys and also likes to nuzzle with his humans. He loves to stretch out while you pet him or rub his belly. If you feel like scratching his head, his ears, or his chin…sign him up…he’s into that too! Henley doesn’t know any commands as of yet, but he’s treat-driven and seemingly clever, so working with him on basic obedience should prove to be very rewarding. An approval seeker, Henley thrives on positive reinforcement and his tail wags back and forth when you tell him what a good boy he is. He’s still got some learning to do, but if are willing to cut this guy a little slack and show him love, kindness, understanding, and patience, he will NOT let you down.
