My Story

Henery has been adopted ... Meet Dante’

This is Henry …

Male purebred Airedale Terrier born 2/29/04 soon to be 2 years old ….

His family is moving west and won’t be taking him L

Here’s what they have to say about him:

he weighs approx. 70 lbs. He is very good natured, a gentle soul, just wants to play and run a lot. He would be good in a home with a couple of boys who are older.  Because of his size he is not suitable for small children he would easily knock them down. Sometimes he's not sure of where his feet are. He loves to go in the car, will walk on a leash with a choke collar for the noise to remind him not to pull. He is neutered and house broken.  He does have a dog bed to sleep on but half the time he gets off of it and sleeps on the floor. His internal temperature tends to run very hot, winter or summer. He does well with other dogs as long as they aren't dominant with females, he tends to become very docile and doesn't assert himself. He gets along with cats, sometimes he expects them to play with him and they don't appreciate that.
We are leaving for
Arizona December 21st, he needs to find a home or a foster home before that time if possible.  We would love to take him but the heat would just do him in.

If you would like to meet Henry and give him a FOREVER home please complete the required application and we will be in touch right away !! Thank you. He will be staying with his family at least thru 12/20.
