Hemmie arrived at the SPCA in late June, 2021. She is an outgoing dog and sweet once she knows you. Hemmie loves playing with her ropes in the play yard and would likely make a great running partner! She enjoys going on long walks, swimming, and playing with lots of toys, especially the squeaky ones! Hemmie would do best in a home without young children and with an experienced dog owner. Considering Hemmie's energy level she does require an active owner who is able to provide her with both mental and physical stimulation.
