Hemingway is a young shy Pyrenees Mix who was found in the middle of the road on 5/26/24. It was clear that he had been on his own for a while because he was suffering from tick disease and was placed on medication for that. His perfect situation is a quiet understanding home where is is housed mostly indoors, but has access to a secure privacy fence for his exercise needs. We think he might do well with another dog to play with. His date of birth is estimated to be 12/1/23 and his current weight is 30 pounds.
Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.
