Help CC! URGENT - Needs foster or adopter ASAP!

CARROT CAKE (aka CC) IS IN NEED OF HELP ASAP OR WILL BE RETURNED TO SHELTER!!!! This sweet 2 y/o lab-pittie mix girl was pulled by our rescue just before she was going to be euthanized at a NC shelter because we thought we had a foster home for her until a forever home was found. Sadly, less than 48 hours later, she is headed back to the shelter due to NO fault of CC’s (foster is having personal/family problems) if we cannot find another place for her to ASAP! The shelter has *zero* space available and she will shoot right to the top of the euth list again. PLEASE - we need help to keep her out of the shelter! Here’s what we know about this sweet girl from the shelter staff: Carrot Cake can be timid and nervous around strangers - especially with men - but give her a minute and once she feels comfortable with you, she’s very interested in getting your attention and affection. She’s not reactive or vocal to people or other dogs passing by, she is curious and observant. She did GREAT with several different social dogs her size, male and female alike (we have videos of their interactions)! We do not know how she is with cats, small dogs, or young children. Carrot Cake is very treat-motivated and will take them gently. And, she LOVES water and frolicking in the kiddie pool! She is spayed and up to date on all vaccines, and HW negative. We can see she was once a cared-for family pet, but after ending up coming into the county shelter as a stray nearly two months ago, how heartbreakingly sad that no one ever came for her. :,-( ****** TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE! ****** If you can help foster or adopt Carrot Cake, please text/call Karen at 4136298152 ASAP!
