This is Helen! Helen was found as a stray a couple months ago and has recently made her way into a foster home. The best guess is that she is a 5 year old lab mix around 50 pounds. She has the most beautiful colors.
When found, she was diagnosed with heartworm and has been receiving treatment for that. She has had no symptoms and will be done after one more injection at the beginning of August. She'll need to stay on heartguard as a monthly dose. Besides that, Helen is a low maintenance dog. So far she has been friendly with people, other dogs, cats/kittens and kids. She's still warming up to life in a home but is getting more comfortable each day. She spends most of her day just hanging out, never causing trouble. Applications are open for her and she can go home starting July 20th
