Heidi - Courtesy Listing

Heidi was surrendered to the shelter by a family member after her owner abandoned her. She is very friendly and happy. She does full body wiggles when you talk to her and she is always content, her adorably nubby tail never stops. She is very easy going and is very respectful of her handler so correction is easy when needed. She loves people and wants to lay on you all the time. She is house trained. Even though she doesn’t look like it, Heidi is also a great running partner. She goes out with volunteers about 3 times per week for a couple miles each time. She also loves car rides. Heidi is pretty easy going but will not let other dogs push her around. Because of this only a home with no other dogs will be considered. Heidi is about 6 years old and 49 pounds. Note: Heidi is currently with one of our partner shelters in Kentucky. Once an application has been approved, arrangements will be made for Heidi to be transported up to our shelter for your meet and greet with Heidi. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
