Heidi and Mickey are Ready for Adoption! Hello there! We’re Heidi and Mickey, a sweet mother-daughter duo, 9 and 4 years old, and we’re ready to find our forever home. Life outside the puppy mill is a whole new adventure for us, and we’re living it to the fullest! I'm Mickey, the mama, and I’m a reserved gal who likes to take things slow. My daughter Heidi, on the other hand, is all about snuggling, saying hi, and loving everyone she meets! We’ve been learning a lot lately! Walking on leashes, sitting when told, and coming when called (well, most of the time). Potty training is another big lesson for us right now, but it’s a work in progress. Up until a few weeks ago, the puppy mill was all we knew. The resident dog has been showing us the ropes of playing, and Heidi is now a pro at it. I prefer to supervise from the couch! Heidi here, and we’re girls of simple taste—a nice quiet home would be perfect for us. My foster mom says I have the softest, sweetest eyes. Older children are okay with us, but my Mama sometimes finds noise a bit too much. With proper introduction, we’d get along with other dogs, though between the two of us I’m the social butterfly! I do have a high prey drive, so we’d prefer a home without cats. The world outside the mill is new and different! Mickey here, and my daughter, Heidi, loves cuddling and has the sweetest smile, while I’m learning to trust and coming out of my shell. I love sunbathing outside! We’re both couch potatoes at heart, so we’ll be happy with short walks and just lounging around. We even walk well on our leashes! We absolutely love treats, so food is a great motivation for us when we’re learning new things. We may have had a rough start, but we’re finally able to know what it means to be a dog, truly living life. We’re sweet, loving girls who would love nothing more than to continue blossoming in our forever home! ?
