Heidi is a four yr old doxie who joined us after life in a puppy mill. She has been spayed and had a dental to clean up her teeth and is now ready for a home of her own. She is doing great on her house-training provided you watch for her signal and get her out. We haven't had accidents in house. Heidi does well with other dogs and cats, loves people although needs time to get to know a new person. The companion dog in home is a must as it helps her adjust and gives her another dog to learn from. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs. All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
