Life is Better with Friends - And Heidi Agrees! This slender 35 lb, almost 1 year old hound-y, boxer-y mix needs a fun and playful doggo friend in her life. Although she is built like a supermodel with stunning eyes, she lacks the confidence to go with it. She is shy with new people, yet very excited to meet new doggo buddies. Heidi is a happy healthy affectionate-seeking girl in her foster home. She enjoys playing with her foster sister dog and playing with toys on her own. She loves food and snacks and will sit to make sure she gets them. She loves walks and wiggles so much with joy at the thought of going out the door that she has to be asked to sit to put on her harness. She's pretty good about coming when called too. Sweet Heidi is both crate and potty trained, as long as she gets appropriate breaks. She sleeps and eats in her crate and likes coming and going when the door is open. She loves cuddling on the couch or the bed when permitted, but is happy anywhere near her trusted human(s) or doggo sibling, ideally with both. Heidi will get nervous if people reach out to pet her and she hasn't had enough time to get used to them. She will need time to trust. Heidi's just a sweet and pretty girl looking for a patient and understanding home that will give her time to show her true fun, playful, loving and quirky self. She will need another dog and a fenced yard in her new home. Heidi is up to date on shots, spayed and microchipped.
