Heidi is about 7 years old. She came to us as a blind dog. However, while she does have pannus that requires daily eye drops, she is not blind. She walks beautifully on a leash and loves to go for walks. She is well mannered, listens well, and knows most basic commands. She was not socialized well, so she does not play appropriately with other dogs
I believe she could learn, but right now, it would be best for her to be an only pet home (except something caged). She does have a high prey drive and is certain a cat would be tasty. That said, she will stop chasing and return on command. Ideal home would be with older children or an adult only home, perhaps a retiree that loves to stroll
