Hello! My Name is Hector, I’m a seriously handsome, soft velvety, very loving, spunky 2-year-old.
I didn’t have a great start in life, I spent long days alone in a kennel, so I’m very sensitive and require a gentle forever home. I have a very different life in my foster home and would do best in a home where I don’t spend time alone. I have anxiety when my humans leave, my foster mom has been working on building my confidence. I have a jacket and can go wherever my people go.
I wasn’t socialized with other dogs previously but in my foster home my play has been appropriate with my dog friends and I learn very fast from them.
I’m not a guard dog, I’m more of a playful pup and love to snuggle under covers especially at night. I like to be busy running in the yard with my friends or going on walks.
I’m still learning commands and walking on leash; I’m treat motivated and know sit very well but I’m usually too excited with life out of the kennel to care much about other commands. I’m house trained, neutered, have all my shots and shots ready for daycare. Not cat or small kid tested.
