Hazelnut is currently at our Adoption Center. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then stop in to meet her during open hours! More about Hazelnut: Spayed: Not yet! She will be spayed on a future date at our Ellis Clinic, and a $50 refundable spay deposit will be required. Up to date on vaccines: Hazelnut is still receiving her core puppy vaccine series and will need 2 additional vaccines after adoption to reach full immunization Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized Housebroken: Working on it! She is a young puppy who would benefit from a consistent routine, but she will catch on in no time Crate trained: Working on it! Leash walking: She is still new to leash walking and would benefit from working on this with positive reinforcement. Dog social: She has been friendly when meeting other dogs Cat social: She has not met or been exposed to cats that we know of Kid friendly: Unknown, but we suspect she may do well Hazelnut has no known medical needs beyond routine wellness care Hazelnut likes: - Using her brain to earn treats and praise - Having her velvety ears stroked - Going for walks and sniffing all the things! Hazelnut is a leggy, floppy-eared girl who is super sweet and smart. As a young pup, she is energetic and curious, and would appreciate a home where she will get plenty of mental enrichment and physical activity to keep her engaged and fulfilled. This growing pup is learning all about crate training and housebreaking. Hazelnut will do best with an adopter who is ready for all the stages that puppyhood and being an adolescent brings! OTAT requires that all dogs 6 months and under be enrolled in a positive reinforcement training program within 2 weeks of their adoption at their adopter's expense. Hazelnut's adoption fee is $350, and this sweet girl can't wait to share her love with her future adopter!
