My Story

Hazel has been adopted by Cathy and Dennis Ewen, their two children Tyler and Cameron, and bull mastiff x Doberman brother Chopper! Mom runs an at home daycare for children, and Hazel thrives on all the attention. Add that to her play-time with Chopper and she is one content girly!

Hazel is a young active boxer cross. She is a big (80 or so pounds) loveable cutie who thrives on attention. She is very boxerish in her personality and actions, giving those famous boxer hugs, and full body wiggles. We are not sure what she is crossed with but some guesses include ridgeback ,GSD or bull mastiff. Likely one of her parents was a boxer and the other was either a boxer cross, or a who knows what? She is the long-pointy nosed version of a purebred boxer!

What we do know is that she is a complete sweetie. She definately needs more training, and does not know her own strength, but gentles herself down for children. She is house-trained, and knows basic commands, although with all her wiggling it is hard for her to stay still at times. Like many boxers she is best suited as an only dog in a house, or with a male dog pal, perhaps another boxer would fit her great. She appears to be fine with cats! She would love to find a boxer knowledgeable home.
