Hazel – Australian Kelpie mix – 3 yrs – female (42lbs) Introducing our sweet little girl, Hazel. We pulled Hazel from a very overcrowded county shelter after her owners dumped her there because they were getting divorced! Sadly, you’d be surprised how often that happens. ? Now Hazel’s at our shelter where we’re getting to know her and working on finding her a “real” home, one that will keep her even when life changes. This little girl has a lot of personality packed into her pint-sized body! Hazel loves to play with other dogs, but with her energy she can be a bit much for some. She loves people of all ages and is very happy if someone will throw a ball for her. She’ll also chat at you and let you know what she thinks. She cracks us up! ?Hazel is happy, playful, and full of life! She has a good amount of energy and would do great in an active home – hiking, jogging, and camping are on Hazel’s bucket list. While she enjoys her play time, she is also loving and affectionate and good with people of all ages. She’s smart and loves to learn so teaching her tricks will be fun!
