Hazel

This 6-month young, 35-pound chocolate hazelnut ACD mix is on the lookout for her furever home. Hazel (aka Hazelnut) is UTD on all her vaccines, spayed, and dog-friendly. She has shown interest in cats as well, but has not been tested. As she is still a young puppy, Hazelnut's house training isn't complete, but is so close and she does very well as long as she's on a schedule. Hazel is also crate-trained and travels great in the car. Hazel has not been tested around kids yet, but she is in a bit of a baby shark phase. Her foster mom is working with her on it. However, seeing as it is a common breed trait, it could take a while to get through, so small kids are not recommended with her at the moment just due to her mouthiness. Hazelnut is a snuggler. She wants to be close. She is also super food motivated so she really enjoys doing a good sit or touch to get a treat. She likes puzzle toys where she is rewarded with a treat, too. She has medium energy and likes to play, but in spurts. Currently, she is leash walked in the backyard and that seems to keep her happy. Hazel hasn’t been taken on a walk yet, but she does fine on the leash in the yard. If you are looking for a great companion and darling girl to grow old with, please pick Hazel!
