Hazel is a sweet 1year old approximately 19 lb girl that is still learning how to be a dog, but is ready for her forever home to help teach her! She loves to play and loves being with her people – she’s good with people of any age. She’s also good with other dogs, and would love another playful dog in her home. We have not had a chance to observe her with cats.
She does not do well when left alone, so she needs a home with people who are around most of the time (for example, retired or work from home), or who can bring her to a dog daycare if they have to be away for work. She does do well in a crate if she can see her humans, but prefers to be out and about. This girl is FAST and adventurous, so she will either need a yard with a 6 foot fence, or to be securely leashed, and to be supervised any time she is outside. Hazel is potty trained. Puppy classes would be great for helping her learn manners. Hazel is being fostered near WI Dells.
