Hazel is a bit over two years old, and she was a stray rescued with her siblings from Texas. She is a lower energy sleepyhead with a few energy bursts when playing outside but usually she's happy being a couch potato. Since being in her foster home, she's working on her socialization and confidence around new people... she tends to be timid and avoid contact initially. Hazel really loves going on walks and would be a happy hiking companion, and she does best with another doggy role model. She is content doing her own thing and just relaxing nearby... she slowly comes out of her shell and starts to join her people more. Hazel is looking for a nurturing patient owner who will go at her pace as she builds that trust.
