She is selective with other animals: not a fan of big dogs or dogs her size, but she can get along with smaller dogs after some time, though she may get jealous. She gets along great with three of the cats inside and one of the two cats outside. However, she tends to growl, nip, or chase the outside cat that does not like dogs, but most of the time she will stay away from him. Hazel is scared of thunderstorms and may bite out of fear.
