Update from my forever family

I am the happy adoptee of Spike. We have renamed him Hazard (Haz), my son thought because of his yellow eyes it suited him. I am just writing to thank you so much for this wonderful and loving addition to our family. Haz is so kind and gentle. He is getting larger, but has remained the sweetest boy around. He accompanies me to my grooming shop daily, and enjoys playing with all the dogs large and small. He does not rough house with the smaller dogs, but will carry around toys and squeekies with them. My 3 pound Yorkie,pom loves him and even though she has had very bad experiences with large dogs (She is always getting trampled) she loves Haz and they play so sweetly together. I started training my early spring obedience class and Haz is my example dog. He is so intelligent he is actually spooky. He can learn and retain anything, easily. For example his uncle showed him how to step on the foot holder for the kitchen garbage can and get into the garbage. But although he was only shown how to get in once, it did take a couple bad dog instances to let him know mom did not appreciate that trick. This Christmas all the kids came home and of course we had a house full of dogs and people. Haz was wonderful, he played with all. His housebreaking was a one day event and he has never had an accident since.

I will send you some pics of the unloved monster sleeping on his pillow in the grooming shop, or curled up with his kids. Our lives have been enhanced so much with the addition of this wonderful, gentle and loving boy. Thank you for the opportunity to share our lives with this wonderful furry child.
