It is hard to surmise the woes and predicaments which must have attended Hayley's youthful career, but this beautiful scaredy-cat is working through it admirably now that she is in foster care, and despite her concerns, the tip of her tail constantly flutters in a brave and friendly wag.
Hayley has almost exotically good looks - her coat is smooth, her conformation is refined of bone with a deep chest, and her ears, which are pinned closely to her head in the photograph due to anxiety when meeting the photographer, prick back up beautifully when she is relaxed. In many ways she resembles the canine equivalent of a Thoroughbred horse in her elegance and temperament.
Although certainly Hayley has need of committed and encouraging work, she shows every sign of becoming a wonderful companion - she has excellent eye contact, she shows no aggression despite her concerned tendency to flee from new humans, and her house manners are close to being complete.
Her positive response to foster care promises continued progress for this lovely and sensitive dog, and it is our hope for her that she might be adopted, and supported and guided by a permanent, bonded adopter.
