Hawk is a 4 year old, 50 lb. black tri male. Hawk is a pretty laid back guy; he's happiest hanging out with his people. He has a sweet face with big brown eyes that just bore into your soul as he gently nudges your hand for pets. He is still learning about living in a house, so he's hesitant in new places and with new objects. When walking around, he will frequently bump your hand for comfort; just a little nudge to let you know he's there.
Some excited calling by his people will result in a toothy Aussie smile and a wiggle. He crates with some coaxing, is housetrained, and takes treats gently. He is still learning how to walk on a leash and basic obedience. His most endearing trait is how happy he is to see you. His body just vibrates with excitement.
Hawk is still learning how to be a dog, so he would be best in a home with another dog. He is timid in new environments, so a fenced-in yard is a must. He gets along nicely with other dogs and is eager to play with them, and he curls up next to the kid in the foster home. He has not been tested with cats.
