Thank you!** Meet the HEAVENLY pups. Adorable little lab mixes from Mississippi. At the time of posting on 6/30 they are 6 1/2 months old and 35 pounds. And this cutie is Harvey Heavenly! He is all sweetness and love! How has this boy been on our website for over three months without applications? Harvey's foster mom shares "These heavenly babies were found as strays, dumped In someone's yard. They could not take care of them so brought them to the shelter. This is a fun group of puppies! They have all the Lab energy we all love, and are sooooo sweet. We are starting to work with Harvey on all his skills. He is smart and wants to please and we think once in a family home where a routine can be set he will learn things so quickly. It is harder here with so many dogs and less structure - but we can tell he is smart as he is already starting to pick up skills like using the doggie door and going to his crate. He is a bit of a puller on a leash right now, but again with 1:1 training from a loving family we are sure that will improve so quickly. Harvey loves other dogs and can be your one and only or add to your pack. He has yet to interact with a cat so we aren't sure about that. He LOVES kids but might be too active for tiny toddlers that he could knock over just by accident with his love for life!! This boy is sweet and playful and is going to make a northern family very lucky!! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
