My Story

Harvey is a small guy weighing in at 10pounds. But don't let size fool you because this little one has some prey drive. He has managed to clear out the annoying small critters from under our large back patio. Good Job Harvey! Harvey loves to cuddle, chase other dogs, be chased, fetch a ball and play with toys including big dog toys. He is funny and charming and makes us laugh at his antics. He would do best in a home with no pocket pets. I do not know how he would do with small children or with cats but I'm guessing he would need a lot of supervision and would do better in a home with older children, adults and no cats. He is interested in the chickens watching them through the fence at times. I rather doubt he is thinking of making friends with them but more like chasing them. Harvey is not a "sit around the house in someone's lap" little dog. He needs a fenced in yard and would do best with an active owner. Some experience with the terrier breeds, as in the wire terriers that have prey drives and are active and smart, would be helpful. Great dog for some different dog sports and pet therapy. A fun dog to play with and work with. Harvey is neutered, micro chipped, his test for heartworm indicated negative. He is on heartworm preventative, has been wormed and is up to date on his vaccinations. Harvey's adoption fee is $250.00.
